Manual lymphatic drainage is a specialized physiotherapy treatment method to promote lymphatic flow and reduce edema. Gentle, rhythmic hand techniques support the transport of tissue fluid through the lymphatic and venous systems. Hardened or fibrotic tissue can also be loosened and regeneration of the affected tissue can be promoted.

Procedure
Treatment is individually adapted and supplemented with appropriate compression measures when needed. Standard treatment duration is 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on the prescription.
